Lady Tee Thompson
Co-Chair, UNA-USA Human Rights · Legacy Co-Chair, Women's Affinity Group
Lady Tee Thompson is the Legacy Co-Chair of the UNA-USA Women’s Affinity Group and co-chair of the CEDAW Committee, and a gender-equality expert. She is Ruby Guillen’s mentor and advisor for all matters related to UNA-USA, and a co-chair on the Human Rights effort.
Advocacy and enterprise
Lady Tee is the principal of the international organization AgroBiz.org and the founder of Cashew Queens, an emerging social enterprise. Her advocacy spans women’s self-sufficiency, equity and equality, African-descendant diaspora inclusion, youth and women’s empowerment, agricultural and entrepreneurial skills transfer, and investment matchmaking for women- and minority-owned companies.
Education
She holds an MBA and a B.A. in Legal Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy, and lives in the metro Detroit area with her family.
She collaborates with Ruby Guillen on the Human Rights website and the work of advancing human rights across the United States.
